When should I schedule cover-crop seeding?
Contact us while you are planning your fall fieldwork. Share your harvest schedule and preferred seeding window so we can discuss availability. Seed choice, crop stage, weather, and soil moisture all affect the plan.
Can a drone seed into a standing crop?
Broadcast seeding into a standing crop may be an option. We review canopy, crop stage, seed characteristics, access, and timing before recommending an approach. Not every field or seed mix is a suitable fit.
Who supplies the seed, and which mixes can you spread?
Tell us the seed or mix you have in mind, or let us know you are still deciding. We will confirm material suitability, supply arrangements, and the planned rate before booking. Your agronomist can help select a mix for your field goals.
How much does drone seeding cost?
We quote each project using acreage, field layout, seed and application requirements, timing, and travel. Send the field details for a quote; no payment or booking is required to make an inquiry.
Will you travel to my farm?
Wisconsin Aerial is based in Columbus and works across southern and central Wisconsin. There is no fixed distance cutoff for an inquiry. Longer-distance projects may include travel or mobilization, which we discuss in the quote.
Does aerial seeding guarantee a cover-crop stand?
No. Broadcast seed establishment depends on seed choice, soil contact, moisture, weather, and field conditions. We confirm the application plan with you, but cannot guarantee germination, establishment, or yield.
