Thermal imaging can help us spot animal heat signatures in fields, along wooded edges, and in other visible areas. Our visible-light camera helps us examine possible sightings before coordinating with you on the ground.
We plan around access, airspace, weather, and your pet's behavior. A frightened animal needs a calm response, not a crowd or a chase. Aerial searching supports your wider search effort; it does not replace it.

Questions when your pet is missing
What does a pet search cost?
An accepted pet recovery search costs $350, the same price as our deer recovery searches. We confirm location, access, availability, and search details with you before accepting the work.
Can you search for both dogs and cats?
Yes. Tell us about your dog or cat, their temperament, where and when they were last seen, and any recent sightings. We will discuss whether an aerial search is a useful next step for that location.
Can thermal cameras see through trees or buildings?
No. Thermal cameras detect heat that is visible to the sensor; they do not see through walls, roofs, or dense foliage. Cover, weather, terrain, and temperature differences affect what we can detect.
Will you be able to bring my pet home?
We cannot promise detection or recovery. If we locate a possible match, we work with you to confirm it and coordinate a careful ground response. Locating an animal and safely securing it are separate steps.
Should I wait for a drone before doing anything else?
No. Contact local shelters and animal control, notify your microchip registry, and keep a record of sightings. Ask neighbors to check sheds and garages with permission. If you see a frightened pet, avoid chasing or crowding it; record the location and coordinate a calm approach.
